On November 19th, 2024, the Verita Community came together for a truly special and unforgettable evening to mark a major milestone: 10 Years of Verita International School.

We are incredibly grateful to everyone who joined us in celebrating this special occasion. Your energy, enthusiasm, and support made this milestone event truly special—a beautiful testament to the vibrant and compassionate community we have built together over the past decade.

Honouring Our Past, Embracing the Future

The evening was not only a celebration of how far we’ve come since Verita was founded by Richard Joannides and Gabriela Simionescu, but also an opportunity to embrace an exciting future. We were thrilled to introduce our new partner, Aatif Hassan, the visionary Founder of Dukes Education, who shared inspiring words about the history of Dukes and how this partnership will serve as the foundation for the next chapter of development and growth.

Dukes Education will support the creation of two new campuses: a brand-new City Campus near our existing Aviatiei location and the construction of the first nZEB school in Romania, North Amber Forest Campus in Tunari, Ilfov.

Memorable Moments, Meaningful Impact

The evening was brimming with unforgettable moments. From inspiring speeches and impressive student performances to the excitement of the raffle and the auction of stunning artworks, there was something for everyone. Watching the children delight in the kids’ area and seeing parents and families connect made the celebration even more meaningful.

We also shared a special video filled with treasured memories from the past decade—an emotional tribute to our growth, milestones, and the strong bonds that define Verita.

Thanks to your incredible generosity—whether through raffle participation, auction bidding, or donations—we raised €3,200! These funds will be used to refurbish and modernise a small primary school in Lanuri village, Buzău County, and provide essential training for their teachers in both academic and social-emotional learning.

We are deeply grateful to the families who donated raffle items to support this charitable cause. Your contributions reflect the heart of the Verita spirit—compassion, collaboration, and a commitment to making a difference.
