Welcome to our Early Years setting at Verita International School,

I am delighted and extremely proud to be the EYFS Coordinator at such a fun and vibrant school where pupils, parents, teachers and the school community work hard to build partnerships and have high expectations of one another.

As a  teacher and a mother, I strongly believe that every child deserves the best possible start in life and the support that enables them to achieve their full potential. Children develop quickly in the early years and a child’s experiences between birth and the age of five have a major impact on their future life chances. A secure, safe and happy childhood is important in its own right. Good parenting and high-quality early learning together provide the foundation children need to make the most of their abilities and talents as they grow up.

I am committed to the highest standards of teaching and learning – achieved through a combination of challenge, support, socio-emotional learning, safe and exciting environments – to ensure that all students fulfil their potential academically, socially and emotionally.

Within the VIS Early Years area of school, you will find a welcoming and purposeful environment, with relationships built on mutual respect, kindness, inclusion and compassion. Our unique early years pupils develop skills for lifelong learning. We support this through nurturing pupils’ creativity, encouraging independent thinking; learning and showing that mistakes can be an impressive learning opportunity.
