She equally developed a passion for the learning and teaching process, which she finds ever exciting and inspiring. She has always been grateful for everything she learned from the interaction with her students and considered herself privileged to have been offered all the opportunities that she had during her teaching years.

She is committed to early second language acquisition as an integral component of education, so she decided, after working in higher education, to take up the challenge of teaching to a younger population – Y3 to Y8. So she has been doing her best to put herself in the students’ shoes and has learned precious lessons about the importance of building relationships, engagement, diversity in activities, adaptability and flexibility. She also has been constantly encouraging students to become aware and use their prior knowledge of languages and especially to learn from each other. She fondly remembers the moment when she chose to become a teacher of Romanian and Spanish, in the 5th grade, inspired by her aunt. She has built her lessons as facts of life, in the sense that, first of all, she tries to take into account the particularities of each student, the aspects that emphasize their uniqueness, and then focus her attention on the notions that her students will learn. She builds the grammar lesson as a story, giving students a more accessible knowledge, but also a fun ideology in learning Spanish grammar.

During her journey at Verita International School she hopes to convey to the students, using her passion for Spanish and Latin American languages, culture, music and traditions, to inspire them with their cultural magic and colors. She is sure that at the same time this will also be a new experience for her, where she will use the opportunity to learn and further develop her skills and knowledge for a better understanding and collaboration with children.
