As the warm embrace of summer approaches, we are thrilled to extend an invitation to our school’s Summer Camps: an unforgettable adventure in a charming traditional mountain village at Aluniș Retreat, Buzău.

Children will dive into the joys of rural life: baking, gardening, milking cows, and collecting eggs, while learning through play and laughter. Days are filled with team games, creative workshops, and nature hikes, uncovering medicinal plants, amber, and hidden fossils. Evenings around the campfire bring music, stories, and memories that last a lifetime.

Camp details:

When: June 29th – July 5th (6 nights)

Where: Aluniș, Buzău – location will be reserved exclusively for our group

Age group: 8-11 years old

Maximum no of kids: 30

Cost*:  3250 Ron / child

*The cost has been made taking into consideration a number of 30 participants.

The cost includes:

  • Accommodation in double, twin, triple rooms, or bungalows;
  • 3 meals and 2 snacks per day;
  • Transportation from Bucharest to Aluniș, Buzău and return;
  • Transportation to the activity venues;
  • Recreational activities listed in the above offer;
  • Supervision assistance from teachers and Outdoor activities trainers;

Communication at Camp

Recognising the impact that excessive screen time can have on children’s development, and prioritising their safety and wellbeing, Verita camps are a completely electronics-free experience for all children. Clear details about how we will communicate with parents will be shared, keeping you connected every step of the way.

Please note that the phone signal at the camp is very weak. We will schedule specific times for you to talk to your child, as usual, but outside of these moments it will be difficult to get in touch.

Rest assured, we will contact you if needed, and you’ll also receive daily updates and photos via WhatsApp so you can follow all the fun activities.

For emergencies, an emergency phone number will always be available.

 Here is a glimpse into some of the activities we will be preparing for our group of adventurers:

  • Daily gymnastics and sports with an instructor, team games;
  • Creative workshops: drawing, pottery, modeling, land art, weaving;
  • Countryside experiences: donut-making, preparing spreads such as “zacusca”, pickling, milking, collecting eggs, gardening;
  • Nature hikes: medicinal plants, fossils etc;
  • Evening campfire songs, plus 3 movie nights (Romanian film, Wally, Disney)
  • Hot water tub
