Homeroom Teacher
Primary school teachers are responsible for planning, teaching, and assessing the Verita curriculum. They are expected to maintain a thorough understanding of both subject matter and pedagogy. Primary teachers are expected to treat their students with kindness and respect and to provide them with an outstanding international education that inspires students to achieve their full potential.
The successful candidate must have excellent English, a valid teaching certificate, and a minimum of two years prior teaching experience, and most importantly, you must love working with young people.
Knowledge and Skills:
- Knowledge of up-to-date teaching pedagogy;
- Knowledge of a range of learning styles of students ages 6-11;
- Skilled at differentiation;
Primary areas of responsibility & accountability:
- Planning and Preparation.
- Prepare for assigned classes and show written evidence of preparation.
- Establish and articulate clear objectives for all lessons, units, and projects to students.
- Link instructional objectives to the Verita curriculum.
- Guide the learning process toward the achievement of curriculum goals.
Secondary areas of responsibility & accountability:
- Be involved in extra-curricular activities
- Be involved in service learning
QUALIFICATIONS:
Education / Certification:
- Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field
- Fluency in the English language
- Valid teaching certificate or equivalent
- Minimum of two years prior teaching experience (recommended)

- Enjoys working with children
- Willing and able to work collaboratively
- Possesses a positive attitude

Primary Teacher Assistant

Secondary PE Teacher
Verita International School is looking for a kind, caring, knowledgeable and enthusiastic teacher of Physical Education to work with children aged 10 and above.

Your role as PE teacher is to help nurture and support pupils in all areas of their learning. The successful candidate must have good English skills and a passion for working with young people. Previous experience teaching physical education is strongly preferred.
PE teacher reports to the School Principal and are responsible for planning, teaching and assessing the Verita curriculum. They are expected to maintain a thorough understanding of both subject matter and are expected to treat their students with kindness and respect and to provide them with an outstanding international education who inspires students to achieve their full potential.
Position:
- MS Physical Education Teacher
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Education, Kinesiology, or similar
- Master’s Degree preferred
- At least two years teaching experience
- Current teaching certification from home country
General Description:
The successful candidate for this position will be an excellent teacher who instills a love of physical education in their students while engaging them in relevant and rigorous learning activities. They will be a positive collaborator, use technology appropriately, be student-centered, and committed to ongoing improvement. They will be focused on providing a balanced, multi-sport physical education class to their students. This position will teach years 7 and 8.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide students with engaging, relevant, and rigorous learning activities
- Modify instructional materials to meet the needs of learners of various abilities and backgrounds
- Contribute to a positive learning environment in which students are encouraged to actively participate in the learning process
- Communicate consistently and effectively with students, parents, and coworkers
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of student progress and inform students and parents of same
- Collaborate with peers and administrators in creating a positive, open, and friendly learning environment
- Maintain professional and ethical standards when dealing with students, parents, and coworkers
- Meet basic standards of professional responsibility, including meeting deadlines, responding to correspondence in a timely manner, and keeping abreast of published school schedules and events
- Seek out and participate in professional development opportunities appropriate for the position
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by their supervisor
