The first day of school after the mid-term break was marked by the festive ambiance of the Chinese New Year, celebrated throughout our entire campus in collaboration with the esteemed Chinese Embassy, Confucius Institute, and the EuroAsiatic Art Institute. Students returned to class have received a nice red envelope containing a surprise and enjoyed the vibrant dance of lions and the Red Dragon. The school’s reception came alive with enchanting traditional music and the graceful movements of the dancers, capturing the essence of Chinese culture and heritage. Furthermore, an impressive martial arts demonstration infused even more energy into the atmosphere. The Shanghai WuShu Bucuresti Club skillfully performed every choreographed sequence, adding a remarkable touch to the event.

The festivities included a variety of activities and games for children. Students gained insight into the Chinese language and calligraphy, tracing Chinese numbers, learning pronunciation, crafting PaperLanterns, collectively coloring a dragon and many more. They also indulged in delicious Chinese food prepared by our talented chef, showcasing traditional Chinese flavors!
