We are happy to share our Strategic Plan for 2021-2022.
The aim of the Strategic Plan for Verita International School is to guide the educational direction of the school for the next five years. The Plan drives a continual process, which also includes an annual feedback cycle. In this way, the Strategic Plan is designed to remain flexible, relevant and up to date. Any new initiatives not already identified in the plan will be considered in line with our 6 development areas.
Between the period of September 2020 and June 2021, Verita International School pursued this plan to evaluate its academic programmes, resources, governance and leadership structures, and support for student life in preparation for CIS accreditation and the implementation of the IBDP programme in September 2021. The evaluation was effective in defining the school’s strategic planning framework to ensure that VIS proactively planned for the future.
The Strategic Plan 2021-2022 is about continuity and development. Firstly, it honors VIS’s influence on the lives of the students, and families through educating students with the essential skills and knowledge required to make an active contribution as they take their place in our ever-evolving global society. The plan is also about potential. VIS values and seeks to develop inquiry-based learning, self-direction, creative problem solving, collaborative, social-emotional learning and experiential educational experiences.
